PID Interactive
This playground demonstrates the theory behind PID controllers and how they can be used to control systems in various applications. The user interface design is inspired by the look of research papers with the added benefit of mobile applications that allow for interactive examples.
This software was created as a submission for Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference and won a scholarship in 2019. The conference is held every year and students can submit small projects like this one and may be awarded a scholarship to visit the conference.
The week I spent at the WWDC19 in San José, CA was incredible and I strongly recommend everyone who is interested in programming to apply for a scholarship!
An app I developed was featured on MacLife as part of their WWDC 2019 coverage and even Apple had an App Store feature for some scholars.
